1.2 How to Get the Most out of this Course
We have put together a few tips for you on how to get the most out of the course!
In the different lessons, you’ll find different text parts. Here is a brief explanation of what is behind the terms. 👇
In the reflection section, statements from the presented videos, podcasts, or other resources are summarized, reflected on, and discussed. Or new interesting discussion points and arguments on the topic are introduced. This part therefore also contains evaluative statements, we would like to emphasize this clearly! These open up our perspective on the topic. You can share your thoughts and reflections with us and the other participants in the forums.
In the activity part, we want to promote your learning process. The time you need for this is not included in the learning time given for the respective learning units.
In the in-depth section, we provide you with sources that have been dealt with/mentioned and further resources.
Reflection
As many opportunities as virtual learning offers, there are also many challenges. Anonymity and lack of face-to-face interaction are some of them. However, networking with each other and sharing knowledge is a goal of this course. So we had to think about how to achieve this goal. Our idea: create a personal level!
Activity
Join the conversation by introducing yourself (Leave a comment 👇) and sharing why you decided to join the course. You can contribute in whichever language you wish.

Hi, I have just finished my apprenticeship (event manager). And I am interested in whether the use of AI will also have an impact on my profession? Not sure about that… I also want to know what the potentials and risks of AI are.
Hope to get a lot of new insights. Many greetings, Katharina (I like the idea of this course, and hope to make some contacts, we will see 😀 )
I am sure AI will impact on many aspects of your work as an event manager – hopefully making your work more enjoyable and rewarding – but we will see 🙂
Hello, I am a teacher educator. I am responsible for TVET teachers. For some time now I have been fascinated with AI. I am interested in how teachers can integrate AI into their teaching.
Thanks for the opportunity.
Hi Madererie – welcome to teh couse 0 hope you will get at least some ideas about this from the different units.
Hello Madgerie…
We seem to have the same position … a supervisor to other TVET instructors…
I am happy too at this opportunity ….
cheers!
Hi, I’m a learning technologist. I provide support on the use of technology to academic staff in our vocational institution.
We have very varied levels and digital skills among our staff. Some are really technologically literate and love trying out new things, while others are just making their first steps in using LMSes.
AI has not really been on the radar as a technology worth exploring in our institution (the interest in the XR/AR/VR Is growing, but AI is really something new to us), so I’d be interested to learn how AI can be applied for VET and what unique affordances it can offer.
Yes me too … Natalia… hope we all finish this course in a profitable way 😁
Yes, I am Ephrem … and as a teacher and also a supervisor for other instructors … I hope to able to interact with all of you …
cheers…
